Job Details
We are seeking to recruit a 0.6 Professional Educator (21 hours a week) within the Practice Improvement and Development Service, part of the Children and Families’ Social Care Division in the Children’s Services Directorate. We are looking for a skilled social work practitioner who is passionate about motivating and inspiring others to learn and develop into confident, competent social workers.
The successful candidate will model best practice for children and their families, promoting the meaningful engagement of children, young people and their families in shaping and improving our services. We are looking for someone with a leadership style that fosters collaboration, empowers others and delivers positive change for children, underpinned by systemic practice and compassion-focused approaches.
You will need well-developed assessment and risk management skills and the ability to inspire students and social workers to achieve positive outcomes for children and families experiencing a range of children services interventions.
